Family Core is a family resource planning platform system. It's main functions were to safely securely store, organize, and share important documents between blended families and friends.
In this project I was tasked to redesign a website called Family Core. The deliverables were to update the brand and overall design of the website and App. This including the expansion of additional features.

Dwell is a bible app that allows you to listen to scripture in the way that fits you. Its main function allows users to explore scripture through daily listening plans, topical playlists, curated stories & passages, and more. As the app and user base continued to grow they realized that users wanted more of a dual approach as it pertains to the player, thus introducing the 'Read Along'.
The 'Read Along' feature was one of the most recent additions to the app, where the user has the ability to toggle between 'Listen' mode and 'Read Along' mode. 'Listen' mode is focused on audible scripture and 'Read Along' allows you to not only listen to scripture but also read along. The 'Read Along' mode has additional functions, such as the ability to scroll up or down and tap on verses they'd like to hear next. When the user taps on a single verse the screen pushes to that particular section. This is allows the user to jump back and forth in the text without the need to perform a continuous scroll.

In this website redesign, I conducted usability studies with a set group of users. These studies helped us discover the pain points that users were experiencing with the current site. We prompted users with a set of questions as they walked through the main objectives of the site, such as finding a nearby location, browsing the menu, and placing an order.

I redesigned a mobile payment app that was submitted to both app stores. My primary focus was to streamline and simplify the user flows, with particular attention to the payment confirmation screen, processing screen, and bar scanning capability. By creating clear calls to action and improving the user experience in these areas, I successfully reduced the number of customer returns and support ticket submissions. This project was a significant achievement.
As the UI designer for this project, my main goal was to showcase the content and data in an engaging and intuitive way. To achieve this, I created various style tiles and approaches that highlighted areas of interest and encouraged exploration. The client's primary focus was on improving the student's search experience for courses, programs, and overall admissions.
By leveraging interactive elements and clear data representations, we were able to deliver impressive results. Not only did we effectively present the information, but we also made the user experience enjoyable and engaging. Overall, this project was a great success, and I look forward to applying my UI design skills to future projects.
