One of my most recent projects was to redesign a website called Family Core. The deliverables were to redesign the website and App. Family Core is a family resource planning platform system. It main functions were to safely and securely store, organize and share important documents.
Some of the areas I am most proud of is the documentation and flows built out for each core function. Specifically the Add Task and Add Event feature.
Add Task User Flow
Add Event User Flow
Dwell is a bible app that allows you to listen to Scripture in the way that fits you. Its main function allows users to explore scripture through daily listening plans, topical playlists, curated stories & passages, and more. As the app and user base continued to grow they realized that users wanted more of a dual approach as it pertains to the player, thus introducing the 'Read Along'.
The 'Read Along' feature was one of the most recent additions to the app, where the user has the ability to toggle between 'Listen' mode and 'Read Along' mode. 'Listen' mode is focused on audible scripture reading and 'Read Along' allows you to not only listen to scripture but also read along. The 'Read Along' mode has additional functions as to where the user can scroll down and tap on verses they'd like to hear next.
The user flow shown above, is meant to show the users journey to access the 'Listen' and 'Read Along' screens.
The goal of this redesign was to allow the user to choose and add menu items to their cart with ease. In order to avoid unnecessary site searching and deviated paths from the cart, we wanted to present all possible options in one location. Which included the description, the spice level, allergy information and nutrition.Read More
This project is one of my recent works. This particular app specialized in mobile payments. I redesigned each of the flows to allow for more of a streamlined and intuitive experience. The main focus for this flow was to provide clarity on the next steps in the user experience. This included a streamlined experience between the payment confirmation screen, the processing screen, and the bar scanning capability.
These screens were implemented and submitted to both app stores. This resulted in a decline of customer returns, and support ticket submissions. Definitely a win in my book!
The focus of this project was to present various style tiles and approaches that would showcase both content and data. I was able to break out areas of interest in a clear and interactive approach. The client's main focus was to encourage the student to search and explore key areas of interest such as courses, programs, and overall admissions.
The project went on to deliver impressive results. We were able to present interactions and data representations in not just a clear way, but a fun one as well!
